The main road in Whitbourne will remain closed for several hours this morning as crews respond to a serious motor vehicle collision.

Drivers are being asked to take Old Brigus Road to get to the highway or to get into the community.

Fire Chief with the Whitbourne Volunteer Fire Department, Jamie Budden, says the collision took place near Scotiabank.
