Three people have died following a two-vehicle collision on the Trans Canada Highway near Appleton.

Emergency crews responded to the scene around 8:20 p.m. Saturday night.

The RCMP say the highway was closed for over three hours and the incident is still under investigation.

Police cannot provide any further details at this time.
