Almost 3-million dollars is going towards the replacement of the CN Viaduct on the Pitts Memorial Drive.
The concrete and structural repairs, asphalt patching, expansion joint repairs and guiderail replacements will take place now into the fall.
While work is active, some lane closures will be required.
Transportation Minister Steve Crocker says that drivers should refer to the 511 smart phone app for daily and hourly updates.
