A Gambo man who died as a result of a helicopter crash one week ago is being remembered as a loving and caring man who put his family first.
69-year-old Lindsey Feltham, was one of three men riding in the Robinson R44 light utility helicopter when it crashed on land at Thorburn Lake near Clarenville.
Members of the Transportation Safety Board of Canada have completed their work at the scene.
Feltham’s sister, Verna Hiscock, says her brother was a man who took part in everything in his community and was a member of the music group, “The Gambo River Boys.”
She says the entire community is in disbelief.
Feltham is a firm believer that God has a plan for everyone. She is asking everyone to keep the other two men who were on-board with Lindsey in their thoughts as they are going through a hard time as well.
Hiscock says the 68-year-old man from Aquaforte and 54-year-old man from St. John’s were transported to hospital with serious injuries and had surgery this week.
