A routine traffic stop in Corner Brook led police to an unusual discovery—the driver hadn’t renewed his licence for the past 18 years.
Yesterday afternoon, officers stopped a driver after he pulled into an intersection while it was unsafe to do so.
However, upon checking his documents, they discovered that his licence had expired in 2002.
He was ticketed for the offences, and parked the vehicle until someone with an active licence could pick it up.
