Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting one new confirmed case of COVID-19 today.
Officials say the new case is a woman in the Eastern Health region between 20-39 years of age who recently travelled from the United States. They say the woman has been self-isolating since her return.
Contact tracing has been completed and everyone considered a close contact has been advised to quarantine. They also say the risk to the public is low.
The total number of confirmed cases to date now stands at 270 in the province, with two current active cases.
