It looks like more packed lunch ideas will be needed for the start of the new school year as the School Lunch Association announces a delay in their services.

The association says their first date of service will now be October 1. It was originally scheduled for September 23.

Their menu selection is tentatively scheduled to open on September 17.

In a statement, the association says they have been experiencing technical difficulties with their online registration and if families have an issue, they advise them to wait 24 hours and try again.

New online payment methods are coming soon.
