Two men were arrested in the capital city last night for impaired driving.
Shortly after 8 p.m., RNC responded to a call that a vehicle crashed into a fence in the west end of St. John’s.
A 37-year-old man was arrested and charged with impaired driving.
His vehicle was impounded and he was released to appear in court at a later date.
Just before midnight, police responded to another call of a possible impaired driver who left a club in the east end.
An investigation led to the arrest of a 42-year-old man at a center city home.
The man was charged with impaired driving and refusal. He was held at the lock-up to be released when sober.
