The Premier is taking some time to find a way forward following the recent investigation into an alleged breach of confidence involving a former Liberal cabinet minister.
While no criminal charges will be laid, Andrew Furey says he is troubled by RCMP findings that cabinet confidence was broken in the case involving former cabinet minister Sherry Gambin-Walsh.
Furey told VOCM Open Line with Paddy Daly that cabinet confidence is paramount in the British Parliamentary System.
Premier Furey says he is going to take the next couple of days to “reflect on the RCMP release” and speak with cabinet colleagues and Gambin-Walsh herself.
