No serious injuries have been reported following a multi-vehicle collision on the Trans-Canada Highway Wednesday morning but a pregnant woman involved in the accident remains in hospital.
Traffic was reduced to a standstill as first responders rushed to the scene near the Foxtrap weigh scales.
Ryan Brady was on his way to St John’s that morning with his pregnant wife, his two children, and a friend when they became involved in the accident. His wife is 34 weeks into her pregnancy.
They were stopped in the construction lineup when a vehicle smashed into them from behind.
Brady is looking for anyone who witnessed or has video footage of the accident to come forward.
They’re making arrangements to have the kids taken care of so that Ryan can be at his wife’s side.
