The parents of a man from St. John’s who is missing in the Vancouver area hope the discovery of items belonging to him will convince police to resume the official search.
Jordan Naterer, who is 25 years old, went for a hike on his own on the Thanksgiving weekend but never returned. His parents, Greg and Josie, are in the area helping friends search for Jordan.
He was seen that first day about 20 minutes into the trail by his car. The bag that was found contained a white trucker hat and Oakley glasses case which belonged to Jordan.
We need Vancouver police to reactivate search for my son Jordan asap with thermal imaging helicopters, dogs, drones in Frosty Mtn hiking trail – we have new clues, his white cap, Oakley glasses, found few km from Frosty peak – please share, contact police at 604 717-3939 any info pic.twitter.com/P2xz8nlBwp

Greg says it’s important that a thermal imaging helicopter and tracking dogs be included in the search.Jordan is believed to be on the Frosty Mountain Trail, the interior of which covers about 40 square kilometres.
Greg says after going three or four days without any new evidence, the Vancouver Police Department suspended the search but told them at the time that it would reactivate it if any new clues were found.
He says the new evidence places Jordan in a certain location, and he hopes that they will reactivate the search.
