Premier Andrew Furey will be officially sworn in as the MHA for Humber-Gros Morne on Thursday.
Furey took the seat by a landslide in a byelection on October 6.
Once Furey is sworn in, he can take his seat in the House of Assembly. Deputy Premier Siobhan Coady has been serving in his place in the interim.
The ceremony will take place Thursday at noon at Government House.
