A man who should not have been behind the wheel was nabbed by RNC on the west coast yesterday afternoon after officers spotted him going at a high rate of speed.

Police stopped the 29-year-old, who is from Corner Brook, just before 4:00 p.m. on the North Shore Highway near Hughes Brook.

He was going over 31 km/h above the speed limit.

The RNC say he was driving while suspended and the vehicle was uninsured. The vehicle was impounded.
