The province has one new confirmed case of COVID-19.
It involves a man in the Central Health region who is between the ages of 20 and 39. The man—a resident of Newfoundland and Labrador—recently returned to the province from Ontario.
He has been self-isolating since his arrival in the province, and health officials say contact tracing is underway.
There are six active cases of the virus in Newfoundland and Labrador, with 289 reported recoveries.
To date, 56,186 people have been tested.
