Dominion workers have ratified a new collective agreement with Loblaw, bringing an end to 12 weeks of strike action.
Unifor confirmed Friday evening that workers voted to accept the final offer as presented by Loblaw, and that return-to-work protocol will be rolled out in the coming days.
The new four-year contract is backdated to October 2019.
Unifor National President Jerry Dias says some improvements were included in the final offer, but acknowledges there is still more work to be done to address wages and working conditions at grocery stores across the country.
Some 1,400 workers at 11 Dominion locations across the province hit the picket line in late August.
