This is the final day of voting for striking workers at Dominion. They have been on the picket lines for two-and-a-half months but got a new offer from Loblaw on the weekend.
It’s believed that the new offer contains a one-time Dominion gift card of varying denominations up to a high of $500, but no increase in the rate of pay.
Results of the Unifor vote should be known later today or tomorrow.
Eleven Dominion stores in Newfoundland remain closed.
