A 36-year-old man with a huge debt load of fines and multiple warrants is in hot water after fleeing from police which resulted in a collision with another vehicle.
RNC attempted to pull over a suspected prohibited driver on Topsail Road just after 9:00 last night when he took off.
He then crashed into another car.
The man now faces charges of dangerous driving, flight from police, failing to remain at the scene of an accident, driving while prohibited, and breach of court orders.
The driver was wanted on six outstanding warrants and owed $54,000 in fines.
There were no injuries due to the collision.
