Students across the province will see their hard work pay off with the Provincial Scholarship Program.
Normally scholarships are awarded are based on marks from public exams, but due to COVID-19, the June 2020 public exams were cancelled.
Over $200,000 will be awarded to 201 students based on the shared mark of relevant subject areas for all members of the class of 2020.
The Junior Jubilee Scholarship, valued at $2,500, is awarded to the student in the province with the highest overall marks. This year’s winner is Karen Sharpe, graduate of Marystown Central High School.
