Time is running out to apply for the province’s COVID assistance program for small businesses and community groups.
Since details were announced last month, more than 1,350 applications have been received, with more than half of those approved thus far.
Industry Minister Andrew Parsons says the money helps deal with the impact of the pandemic such as revenue loss, and increased costs incurred by having to adapt and enhance health and safety protocols.
The program is still available on a first-come, first-served basis with a deadline of December 15, or earlier if all the money is distributed before then.
Program details, eligibility requirements and information on the application process are available on the government’s website.
