The Mount Pearl Blades are looking for some support from the public in helping to maintain an outdoor rink in Mount Pearl.
The city is interested in developing outdoor skating rinks in the community this winter.
One of the rinks will be located at the Gloria Pearson Community Centre on Holden Street.
While the city will provide everything necessary to put up the rink, community support is needed to look after it.
Those interested are asked to contact city officials.
