Veteran broadcaster and talk show host Larry King, has died at age 87.
Ora Media, the studio and network he co-founded in 2012, confirmed the death in a statement posted on Mr. King’s own Twitter account saying that he died this morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. No cause of death was given, but it was recently revealed that he was battling Covid-19.
During his 63 year career in television and radio, Larry King interviewed countless world leaders and celebrities. People in this province were glued to their televisions when former Premier Danny Williams was a guest on CNN’s Larry King Live in March of 2006 to discuss the Canadian seal hunt with Paul McCartney and his ex-wife Heather Mills.

King was married 8 times to 7 women and had 5 children including Larry Jr., Chance and Cannon. He lost two children, Andy and Chaia, in 2020.
