RCMP in Grand Falls-Windsor are looking for the public’s help in their investigation into a commercial break-in that resulted in the theft of a pickup truck and a number of tools.

RCMP were alerted to the theft from Universal Fabricators on Pondview Drive in Grand Falls-Windsor around 5:00 this morning.

A witness reported a pickup truck speeding from the area around the same time. Police say it appears that the 2012 grey GMC Sierra 2500 pickup—licence plate number CVL920—which was parked inside the building, was driven through the compound fence when leaving the property.

The truck has a distinct aluminium rack which extends from the rear of the truck over the top of the cab and has company logos on its doors.
