There was an unnerving situation coming into St. John’s International Airport yesterday. Air Canada flight AC678 from Montreal reported being struck by a green laser on approach to St. John’s.
The authorities have been notified.
Shining a light at an aircraft is dangerous and illegal. Pilots can be blinded and it puts the flight at risk.
