The Opposition says people are continuing to experience headaches trying to access Motor Vehicle Registration services.
The PC critic for Digital Government and Service NL, Loyola O’Driscoll, says he’s been inundated with complaints from residents—especially seniors—who have not been able to get an appointment, or who have been turned away from in-person counter service.
O’Driscoll calls that “absolutely ridiculous and completely unacceptable.”
He says online booking service for Motor Vehicle Registration is “booked solid” with no new appointments available until mid-September. “That’s not helpful for those with time-sensitive issues with their vehicles,” says O’Driscoll.
