Registered sex offender Matthew Twyne’s stay in jail has been extended again.
His bail hearing was scheduled for yesterday in provincial court but was promptly postponed until August 24.
The 35-year-old was most recently arrested on August 1 near his Mount Pearl residence on Commonwealth Avenue.
He has remained in custody since then.
Twyne faces four new charges of failing to follow court orders to stay away from places where kids under 16 are known to be.
He has numerous convictions for exposing himself, as well as for assaults, theft and continually breaching court conditions.
