A 46-year-old woman is in custody following a break and enter in the capital city.

Shortly after 3:00 p.m. yesterday, police were called to a centre city residence to the report of a break and enter.

The suspect fled the scene before police could arrive, however, the homeowner knew the suspect, and officers were able to locate them a short time later.

She is charged with break and entry, property damage and breaching court orders. She was held for court in the morning.
