Two men are facing assault charges following separate incidents in St. John’s.
Around 7:30 p.m. yesterday, RNC officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a hotel in the centre city and arrested a 32-year-old man for assault and breaching a release order.
Just under an hour later, police received a call of a disturbance at a business, also in the centre city. After an investigation, a 41-year-old man was arrested for assault with a weapon, uttering threats and breach of a release order.
Both men were held for court in the morning.
