The deadline for the annual provincial Seniors of Distinction Award has been extended to September 3rd.

To be eligible, a senior must be nominated by an individual or group, must be 50 years of age or older and be a current or past resident of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Seniors who have made notable contributions through paid or volunteer work may be nominated.

Posthumous awards may also be given.
