The search continues for Marc Russell and Joey Jenkins – two fishermen reported missing off Mary’s Harbour.
RCMP say they are receiving air support from Provincial Air Services, the Canadian Coast Guard ship the Captain Molly Kool, RCMP divers and Deer Lake Ground Search and Rescue with their side-scan sonar.
Kraken Robotics’ vessel the Ocean Seeker is also in the area, equipped with advanced underwater equipment.
RCMP is offering its thanks to residents of the community for their overwhelming support as the search continues.

A candlelight ceremony is scheduled for Friday evening on the wharf next to the Bell Island ferry terminal in Portugal Cove for two fishermen missing off the southeast coast of Labrador.
The search effort, led by RCMP, continued yesterday with the help of the Kraken Robotics vessel the Ocean Seeker, the RCMP’s Underwater Recovery Team, and Deer Lake Ground Search and Rescue who brought along their side-scan sonar equipment.
A Provincial Air Services aircraft, with two spotters on board, flew a grid over the scene yesterday while the Canadian Coast Guard vessel the Captain Molly Kool docked in St. Anthony for a crew change.
Friday night’s prayer vigil and candlelight ceremony is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on the wharf in Portugal Cove.
