The full-scale search for two missing men whose boat was found overturned in Notre Dame Bay has officially concluded.
The belongings of the men, ages 20 and 30, were discovered with the boat Monday afternoon.
The Canadian Coast Guard is working with the RCMP to transition the case to a missing persons case. The two men’s next of kin were notified yesterday afternoon.
The Coast Guard say any new information on the matter can be reported to the RCMP. They thank the RCMP, Department of National Defence, Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary, Exploits Search and Rescue, and any local individuals who joined the search for their efforts.
