Government are providing an update on road repairs on the southwest coast.

At Overfalls Brook, four sections of large culverts were installed, with more sections being installed today.

Equipment and materials are being transported to other locations south of Overfalls Brook, with additional excavators going to the weigh scales near Port aux Basques to install culverts.

The culvert near Little Paradise Park is also being cleared to allow water to drain.

In addition, all washouts in the Codroy Valley have been assessed, and temporary bypass roads have been created.
