A 20-year old man who was suspended from driver and owes more than $7000 dollars in fines was stopped twice by police over the last week.
Harbour Grace RCMP pulled over a speeding vehicle on the highway near Tilton around 10:20 on Tuesday night.
The driver, who was suspended from driving was ticketed for speeding and driving while suspended.
He was also on a court order to stay away from one of the occupants inside the vehicle.
The vehicle, which was owned by one of the passengers, was passed over to the owner.
On Thursday, the same vehicle was stopped around 8:00 a.m. in Tilton.
According to police the vehicle was being driven by the same suspended driver and was carrying the same occupants.
He was ticketed again and this time the vehicle was seized and impounded.
The accused is also facing two charges of breach of court orders.
