The first cruise ship to arrive in St. John’s in a couple of years will lay anchor on the weekend.
The Ocean Endeavour, with close to 200 passengers, is scheduled to arrive on Sunday.
Councillor Debbie Hanlon, the city’s representative for the cruise industry, says 30 ships from 15 cruise lines are scheduled to arrive between now and October.
All passengers and crew visiting St. John’s must be fully vaccinated. They are also required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 24 to 72 hours of boarding a cruise ship.
There will be limited parking available on the harbourfront during cruise ship visits.
