One man was taken to hospital, and a power pole was snapped off following a single-vehicle collision in downtown St. John’s early Saturday morning.
Police, fire, paramedics and Newfoundland Power responded to the area of Water Street West shortly before 2 a.m.
A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital.
The RNC’s Criminal Investigation Division is investigating the cause of the crash.
