The NLTA says now is as good at time as any for the discontinuation of the K-12 COVID rapid test distribution program.

Union President Trent Langdon was responding to the Public Health decision announced this week. Those with COVID rapid tests are being asked to use them as necessary, and the decision will be revisited should the COVID situation change come the new school year.

Langdon says with the end of the school year, now is as good a time as any to discontinue the rapid test kit program.

He cautions that the situation will need to be gauged as the situation evolves.
