Residents of Twillingate are being advised that they will get special access to tickets when the NHL exhibition game – part of the town’s 2020 Kraft Hockeyville prize package – takes to the ice in Gander this fall.

The Habs will take on the Senators on Thursday, October 6 at the Steele Community Centre in Gander.

Grant White, who was mayor of Twillingate when the town won, says priority will go to the residents of Twillingate and surrounding area.

He says they’re working on a fair process to ensure as many local residents are able to attend by creating a registry. White understands there will be some disappointment, those involved in the planning have done it many times before.
