The start of the new school year at École Rocher-du-Nord is being delayed for a few days because of renovations to the building.

The French language school in St. John’s has undergone a complete renovation program, but the work is behind schedule.

Teachers are not permitted to enter the school until September 6, and another week is needed to organize the classes for the coming school year.

Furniture, books, and other resources will be moved out of storage in the gym and set up in the classrooms which requires some time. As a result, the start of the school year at École Rocher-du-Nord has been delayed until September 12.
