Two charges have been laid against a drilling company for offences related to an injury onboard a vessel.
The C-NLOPB has charged Transocean Canada Drilling Services in connection with an injury onboard the Transocean Barents in September of 2019.
They allege Transocean failed to ensure a crane was operated in accordance with the OHS Transitional Regulations and allowed an employee whilst being a signaler to perform duties other than signaling while a crane was in motion.
The first court appearance is scheduled for October 12.
