The town of Grand Falls-Windsor is adopting a new app to help inform residents of road and infrastructure work, delays or changes to garbage and recycling collection and other notifications.

The Voyent Alert! app is already used in places like Corner Brook to inform residents in real time about municipal operations that might affect people in their daily commute or activities.

The app allows residents and visitors to create and follow a number of locations around town that are of interest to them including their child’s school, place of work, or home address.

Notifications will be sent to you in a form you prefer, including text, email or voice to test on a landline.
