A Burin Peninsula woman is facing drunk driving charges after almost hitting a police car.
At around 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, an oncoming car nearly side-swiped a marked police car on Main Street in Grand Bank.
The 49-year-old woman driving the car appeared drunk. She blew two and a half times the legal limit.
Her licence was suspended and her car was impounded.
She’s set to appear in court at a later date.
