The Canadian Red Cross is assisting a woman who has been displaced following a fire in St. John’s.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night on Nightingale Street, damaging the basement apartment of a bungalow.
The Red Cross has assisted the woman with emergency lodging and purchases.
She was uninjured.
