The province is giving a local company over $240,000 for development of new software aimed at replace things such as coupons and loyalty points.
The Funds will help HYKE move to the next stage of development of the software.
Government says the HYKE app will use AI to incentivize people to purchase products in a “personalized and targeted manner.”
The company will then have access to anonymous behavioural data, which will be presented to companies to help them analyze consumer behaviour and their decision-making process.
