A man who has a court order which clearly states “not to occupy the driver’s seat of a vehicle” decided to ignore the stipulation yesterday afternoon.
Bad move.
RNC officers spotted him driving in Cowan Heights around 2:00 but when they tried to stop him, he hit the gas pedal. They chose not to pursue, but called in the police dog. The 41-year-old was apprehended, and now faces charges of flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property and various breaches.
The vehicle was impounded.
