Five candidates are in the running for the byelection in Ward 3 in the city of St. John’s.
The byelection was sparked when former ward councillor Jamie Korab successfully ran in a provincial byelection in Waterford Valley.
Successful candidates include Scott Fitzgerald, Walter Harding, Mark House, Paul Morgan and Greg Noseworthy.
The results of the vote-by-mail byelection will be released on Tuesday, November 5.
