St. John’s International has been recognized as the best airport with under 2-million passengers in North America.

The award for airport service quality is judged by Airports Council International.

Through the program, they provide over 400 airports in 110 countries with extensive data about the airport experience,

Last year, some 1,400 surveys were voluntarily completed by passengers departing from YYT.

Airport Authority CEO Dennis Hogan says the award is based on direct passenger feedback, and is a “testament to (their) progress.”
