Opposition Leader Tony Wakeham has issued an open letter to the Premier seeking further information on John Hogan’s decision to rescind “secret bonuses” revealed last week.
Wakeham says the Premier’s decision to rescind bonus payments of up to $48,000 suggests that he believes the Liberal cabinet made the wrong decision.
He’s asking the premier whether Andrew Furey and Andrew Parsons already received their bonuses, and if so, he wants to know if government will be taking action to recover the funds.
He’s also calling on the premier to remove eight current cabinet ministers currently seeking re-election from the Liberal slate.
