A wanted man’s plans to evade police fell flat yesterday – literally.

Officers on patrol in the east end spotted the man sitting in a parked car just after 3:00 p.m.

When RNC approached the vehicle, the man jumped out and started to run away, however he lost his footing and ended up taking a tumble instead.

The 53-year-old was arrested on outstanding warrants as well as an additional charge of providing a false name to police.
