A man is in the lockup after an incident involving alleged forcible confinement in the west end of St. John’s.
RNC descended on the scene at about 2:00 but the man had jumped in a vehicle and driven off. They located the auto in the centre city area, and charged the driver with assault, threats, and forcible confinement. He was also ticketed and given a 7-day driving suspension.
The 34-year-old will appear in court today.
