A couple of people were arrested in two separate New Year’s Day dust-ups in metro.
The RNC locked up a 30-year-old man after he was in a house in the west end in which he was not welcome. That incident unfolded just before 5:00 am. He has been charged with trespassing at night, breach of probation, and being unlawfully in a dwelling.
And at about 8:00 last night, officers descended on a residence in the west end to quell a disturbance. They arrested a 27-year-old man on charges of assault with a weapon, uttering threats and breach of probation.
