New Year’s ATV Ride Ends with Impaired Driving Charge

A man who was operating an ATV on a road on Bell Island a couple of hours after New Year’s Eve came to a close has been cited for drunk driving.

RCMP spotted the machine at about 2:00 am New Year’s Day and stopped the 61-year-old. They say he failed to provide a proper breath sample so they charged him accordingly and seized his ATV.
